ZENA SAYS: Paint is a good, cheap and easy way to update your bathroom but make sure you use special bathroom paint as it can deal with the high humidity. You'll also need extra protection around your bath or shower. Tiling is traditional way to do this, but you don't want tiles why not try new idea i've found. nuance laminate wall panelling, pounds 50 square metre (www.bushboard. co.uk, 01933 232 242) can be used as a splashback, in the whole bathroom or just in the shower area. it's quicker to fit than tiles - 30 per cent less time. it is also completely waterproof, guaranteed for 15 years and available in designs.
